Newsletter of April 2024

Dear Citizenfund sympathizer,

We look forward to sharing with you our March news and the many projects that are blossoming within our community for the next month.

March : an eventful month for Citizenfund !

March was a particularly dynamic month for Citizenfund, marked by several key events that were important moments for our organization, enabling us to present our approach and inspire as many people as possible.

🇪🇸 First of all, we were invited to present our model at the Interreg Europe CROWD-FUND-MATCH with 8 European countries in Spain! But what really differentiates Citizenfund from a crowdfunding platform? Find out by clicking here.

🪩 We are also delighted with our partnership with Greenmix and our participation in their event. To stay informed and make sure you don’t miss out on any networking events, don’t hesitate to subscribe to their page ! It’s always a pleasure to meet you or to see you again. !

♻️ We also took part in the Hope fair alongside the Citizenfund Charleroi. The latter is about to roll out its strategy to raise its visibility and attract new cooperators, already benefiting from the support of personalities like Thomas Dermine !

🎓 We were also invited to Ephec to present Citizenfund to students of sustainable finance. This meeting enabled us to plant seeds by raising awareness among a younger audience of the importance of their voice and the possibility of having their ideas heard.

🎉 Finally, we had the opportunity to take part in a great evening at ICHEC dedicated to Citizenfund, where we presented how we work to a diverse audience of students, alumni, teachers and interested citizens. The panel was a real success, with incredible energy! Many thanks to Jérémy Van Mullem, Sarah Jonet and Matthieu Henkens for their participation, and to Hélène Cochaux for organizing the event in such an amazing way. Of course, we’d also like to thank all those who attended. It was a moving, inspiring and energetic evening !

This month has been rich in exchanges and encounters, reinforcing our conviction in Citizenfund’s mission. Thank you to all those who have participated and supported our actions. We look forward to continuing this adventure together !

Evazion has been forced to end the Citizenfund adventure… However, the adventure continues with Hutoppia, a renowned French company in the field of nature camping, which will buy back our shares for half their value. It’s a little less cheerful news to conclude this newsletter, but it shows that the seeds we sow are not vain…
