As we enter March, Citizenfund continues to build on its dynamic start to the year, with an increasing number of projects and opportunities, setting the scene for a promising 2024! Find out more in just a few minutes.
Two New Projects ?
On February 21st, our validation event took place at BeCentral, where two projects had the opportunity to present their initiatives and exchange ideas with participants.
Many of you attended, and we’d like to thank you all warmly!
Citizenfund cooperators then had 10 days to vote on whether they wanted Citizenfund to invest in these projects. But what were the results?
Vin du pays de Herve, a cooperative developing a Belgian organic vineyard, received 96.8% backing from 32 voters.
Hellow, a cooperative specializing in low-tech housing through the construction of tiny houses, received 80% backing in favor of financing, with 35 voters.

Mundo Lab celebrated the inauguration of its sixth center, Mundo Louvain-la-Neuve, a sustainable office space designed for change-makers! They proudly presented this sustainable and circular building at the event.

February 22nd, Give a Day successfully organized “Connect & Act”, the first-ever national conference on volunteering and civic action. The event was a resounding success, attracting over 450 participants and hosting 50 high-level speakers in 21 workshops. These workshops were available in three different languages.
