Mundo-Lab specializes in the design and management of office buildings and meeting rooms dedicated to organizations involved in societal change. Mundo centers are subject to ecological renovations and eco-responsible management. They are optimized to reduce energy and water consumption, manage waste efficiently, and favor the use of ecological and healthy materials. These buildings have been awarded several labels and certifications, such as “passive buildings”, “exemplary buildings”, “Belgian Building Awards”, “Green Key”, “Be Circular”, “Circular Wallonia”, and many others. Mundo-Lab has already set up five “Mundo” centers in Brussels, Namur and Antwerp. A sixth center is currently under development in Louvain-la-Neuve. Together, these six centers accommodate a total of 220 tenant organizations (240 once Louvain-la-Neuve is fully operational), offering a total leasable area of around 20,000 m2. These centers are managed on a daily basis by a team of 28 professionals, and the average occupancy rate has exceeded 95% since 2009.
